Students Visit and Give Gifts to Special Needs Children

Grade 6-9 students from Sardam International School, a SABIS® PPP school, visited and gave gifts to special needs children on November 7, 2015. Responsible for organizing this activity were the SABIS Student Life Organization®’s (SLO®) Activities Department, Outreach Department, and Social Responsibility Department.

During their visit, the students distributed toys as gifts, along with various types of sweets to the special needs children. The SLO® prefects sang songs and danced for the children to brighten up their day. The students also motivated the children to join them on stage to sing.

Such an activity was held to help encourage students to assist those in their community who are less fortunate than themselves. Having events like this one are very rewarding for the students, the school, and those who are being given a helping hand.

“It is really a great opportunity for the students to develop their sense of obligation toward assisting those in need,” teachers from Sardam International School said.
