SARDAM INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL WINS THE FIRST PLACE AT THE PUBLIC ART EXHIBITION

On 17 February 2020 , Sardam International School ( Managed by SABIS^® )  won the first place at the Public Art Exhibition .

Sardam Gr.1 to Gr.10 students, with the support of their art teachers, participated in the Annual Public Art Exhibition. The exhibition is a competition, organized by the DOE, between 29 public and private secondary schools from Duhok and surrounding area. Our students made exceptional drawings and handicrafts, which were beautifully displayed on tables and walls at the exhibition, Some students were chosen to be interviewed for their artwork. Many officials were on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony, and served as judges for the competition. The judges, impressed with what our students had created, and Sardam International School was awarded the first place ! for the Third year in a row.

The trophy was presented to us by the general director of Education himself, and our students’ artwork was then collected by the judges in order to showcase as an example to schools who chose to participate in the Art Exhibition next year.

A parent said : “This was an excellent chance for our children to show off their hard work and efforts, and to have their beautiful work recognized. We are happy that this was an experience that will help our children grow, and we look forward to the next competition.”
