Students Develop Photography Skills in SLO®

Grade 7-9 students at Sardam International School, a SABIS® PPP school, got to develop their camera skills during Photography Day on October 23, 2015. The SABIS Student Life Organization®’s (SLO®) Activities Department was responsible for organizing this event.

Prior to the event taking place, the students were asked to bring in their own cameras to take photos. The activity started with an orientation that included some tips for photographers to understand the best ways to snap pictures. The students were given an opportunity to ask different photography-related questions.

They also took some pictures with their cameras around the school and shared them with their schoolmates. “We are so glad to be given an opportunity to show our photography skills in front of other students,” the students said.

The activity ended with an awards ceremony for the first and second place winner. Such an event was held so students could share their passion for photography and develop their camera skills. Additionally, the students will be able to use their photography skills when taking pictures during future SLO® activities.
