Students Celebrate Kurdish Traditional Clothes Day at Sardam
KG 1 to Grade 9 Students at Sardam International School, a SABIS PPP school, celebrated Kurdish Traditional Clothes Day on March 13, 2016.
Students wore traditional Kurdish clothes on that day and participated in traditional dancing and singing. Many photos were taken to keep as a memory of this special day.
The purpose of the activity was to teach students to appreciate their culture and embrace the traditions tied to it. “It was a great chance to show the importance of keeping tradition alive,” said a parent.
