Students at Sardam International School Participate in a Friendly Debate Competition

The head of the English Department along with the SABIS Student Life Organization® (SLO®) organized a debate competition for Sardam International School students in grades 10 & 11 at the AUK campus.

The competition consisted of four teams: AUK, Fakhir Mergasori International School, Sarwaran International School, and Sardam International School. Sarwaran International School and Fakhir Mergasori International School began the debate competition with FMIS winning the round. Afterwards, AUK and Sardam International School competed with Sardam winning the round. The finalists had a final round of debate where the teams performed really well which made it difficult for the judges to decide on the winner. Finally, Sardam was chosen and students were given an award by AUK.

The purpose of this activity was to showcase the debating skills and capability of students at Sardam International School. It was also a good opportunity for our seniors to check out AUK campus and programs if they wanted to consider pursuing their future education there. “This was an excellence chance for our children to show off their skills and hard work. We look forward to the next competition and are sure that our children will give their best,” said a parent.
