SNOW TRIPS FOR SARDAM STUDENTS
Students in different grades in Sardam International School, a SABIS® PPP school in Kurdistan, took a snow trip to Gara mountain with their classmates.
On January 11, 2019, Grade 9 students along with teachers took the school bus to Gara mountain. Once they got there, the students played in the snow and even made snowmen. Then the students danced, sang, and took photos with their teachers and friends. After their time in the snow, they all went and had lunch together in a restaurant.
On January 18, 2019, Grade 11 and 12 students also took a trip to Gara mountain. The students also took the bus to the mountain where they spent their afternoon in the snow. They made snowmen, played games, danced, and sung on the mountain. On the way back to the school, the students had lunch together at a restaurant.
Taking children on snow trips is a valuable experience for them as it allows them to spend quality time with their friends in nature and make lifelong memories. All in all, the children had a very enjoyable and exciting time together. “It was an amazing time and we had fun with our friends and teachers,” said a student.
