SARDAM STUDENTS WIN FIRST PLACE AT PUBLIC ART EXHIBITION

On April 4, 2019, students in grades 1 to 9 at Sardam International School, a SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan, participated in a public art exhibition.

The students, with the help of their art teachers took part in the annual art exhibition in Duhok. The competition took place between public and private schools and allowed students to showcase their artistic skills and abilities. Selected students got the chance to present their work to officials before the winners were chosen. Impressively, Sardam took first place among 82 other schools and were presented with the winning trophy by the minister of education.

The art exhibition was the perfect platform for students to show their creativity and the icing on the cake was bringing home the trophy. “This was an excellent chance for our children to show off their hard work and efforts. We also look forward to the next competition and know that our children will improve from the experience”, said a parent.
