SARDAM STUDENTS VISIT ART GALLERY

The SABIS Student Life Organization’s (SLO^®) Activities Department at Sardam International School, a SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan, organized a trip to the Art Gallery  for grades 8 & 10 students on October 7, 2019.

The day began with a trip to Nawros park in Duhok. Following the park visit, they were met by one of their own Art teachers at an art gallery, where they viewed artwork including one of his own. Impressively, his piece of art was made from ice and attracted many questions from the students who were fascinated as to how it was made. The students had the chance to learn more about art and felt inspired as they headed home.

The purpose of this activity was to help students and teachers’ bond and enjoy a day out. “Thanks for organizing this activity. We had lots of fun with our students,” said a teacher.
