SARDAM STUDENTS ENJOY PICNIC IN BALATE

In April 2019, Grade 10 students in Sardam International School, a SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan, had a picnic in Balate.

The students took the bus to Balate, and enjoyed the ride up singing songs and listening to music. Once they arrived, together, the students and the teachers, set up the picnic with the blankets and home cooked food they brought with them. After enjoying a meal together, the students danced, sang, and played games together and with their teachers.

The purpose of this activity was for students to spend time together making memories and building friendships. “It was an amazing time and we had fun with our friends and teachers. We are looking forward to similar events to be held this year,” said a student.
