SARDAM STUDENTS CELEBRATE KURDISH COSTUME DAY

Students from KG 1 to Grade 12 at Sardam International School, a SABIS® PPP school in Kurdistan, celebrated Kurdish Costume Day on March 10, 2019.

The students were asked to come to school wearing Kurdish traditional clothing on the day of the event. The celebration was filled with dancing and singing activities, and students took many pictures with their friends and teachers. The day ended on a high with the raising of the flag and singing of the national anthem.

The purpose of this activity was to give students the opportunity to celebrate an important day in Kurdish culture. The students enjoyed the day very much. “We are very proud of having such a special day to show our interest in our national costume, and we had a lot of fun and enjoyed the ceremony,” said a student.
