Sardam International School Organized Girls’ Football Competition
The SABIS Student Life Organization®’s Sports & Health Department at Sardam International School, a PPP school in Kurdistan, organized a Girls’ Football Competition for grades 8-11 students on Saturday, October 14, 2017.
Students were taken to Bera Football Field and were divided into four teams, and each team consisted of seven players. The competition extended over a period of 4 hours and ended with Grade 9B winning. On the next day, P.E. teachers and administration staff awarded the winning team and second-place team with trophies for their achievements. Kani Islam was awarded with a “Best Player” trophy and Wan Farhad & Fatma Moayad were awarded best scorers.
Throughout the competition, the girls showed a high spirit of sportsmanship and team work. “It was an amazing match and we had fun with our friends and teachers. We are looking forward for more completions to be held this year,” said a student.
