Grades 2-8 Students Receive Accelerated Reader Program Reward

Students in grades 2-8 at Sardam International School received an Accelerated Reader Program Reward on February 22, 2015. Responsible for organizing this event were the librarian and the school Administration.

Students that performed well in the Accelerated Reader Program and raising their levels were given a token of appreciation for their hard work. More specifically, the award was a shirt with the student’s picture on it as a keepsake souvenir.

The Accelerated Reader Program was created as a way of improving students’ reading skills and the reward side of the program was put in place to encourage a healthy dose of competition between students.

Participating students are hoping the library will expand in the future, so they can enjoy plenty more reading material.
