Grade 8 & 9 Students at Sardam Enjoy Mountain Picnic
Students in grades 8 and 9 at Sardam International School, a SABIS® PPP school in Kurdistan, enjoyed a picnic on Bablo Mountain on November 4, 2017.
Students rode the buses to their picnic on Bablo Mountain, and spent the ride singing and chatting with their classmates. Once they arrived, students and teachers organized the food and picnic material together and ate before getting into any activities. Afterwards, they sang, danced, and took photos with their friends and teachers, and played different games like skip rope, hot hat, and sack racing.
The purpose of this activity was to promote friendships between the students in these grades, encourage bonding, and to have a great day out in nature. “Thank you for providing a great opportunity for my child to have a wonderful time with their friends. My son had memorable moments and he wants to attend more activities this year,” said a parent.
