GRADE 10 STUDENTS ENJOY PICNIC
On October 19, 2018, students in Grade 10 in Sardam International School, a SABIS® PPP school in Kurdistan, enjoyed a picnic in Ashawa.
The students met at school as they were going to take the buses to Ashawa. On the bus, students sang and played different games until they arrived to their destination. When they arrived, the students and teachers got off the busses and helped set-up for the picnic with the food they brought from home. After everything was set-up, the students began to enjoy the food they brought, play games, sing and dance, and take photos to keep as a memory of this day.
The day wasn’t over yet, after the picnic the students and teachers continued on to Bablo Mountain where they rode the chairlifts and enjoyed the magical views.
The activity was organized to cement lifelong friendships amongst the students and give the students the opportunity to interact outside the school setting. The picnic was successful and the students enjoyed their day in Ashawa. “It was an amazing time and we had fun with our friends and teachers. We are looking forward to more activities like this one,” said a student.
