Costume Party at Sardam International School

On Saturday, April 14, 2012, Sardam International School organized a costume party for Grade 1 students, with children free to choose their own costumes. First graders met this opportunity with enthusiasm and dressed up as pirates, cowboys or cowgirls, princesses, or their favorite animals.  The children were thrilled to be the center of attention. They also had fun dancing and singing together. The special part of this event was a gift exchange, where children had an opportunity to make gifts themselves beforehand and then give them to someone special from their class or school. Through the gift-exchange, the children learned a very important lesson. They experienced the pleasure of giving gifts and seeing others respond with enthusiasm.
