Sardam Organize Football Competition

Sardam Organize Football Competition

On Saturday, October 26, 2013, grades 5, 6, and 7 students from the Sardam International School, a member of the SABIS® network of PPP schools in Kurdistan, participated in a football competition organized by the school’s physical education teachers. Sardam students were divided into 6 teams of 9 players each. After 4 hours of competing against each other, the final whistle blew, and the trophy was placed in the hands of the winning team – Grade 6B.   Trophies were also awarded to the best player in the competition, Omar Zana, the competition striker, Kato Islam, and the team that took second place – Grade 6A. Throughout the competition, student athletes showed sportsmanship, teamwork, and camaraderie, skills that the students are looking forward to showcase in the next competition.
